Valentine's Day w/ Fiancé






We went to dinner at SoBou, (South of Bourbon) a brother restaurant of Cafe Adelaide & Commander's Palace from Brennan's here in NOLA. We started of with the cutest spinoff of Tuna Tartar Ceviche topped with Avocado Ice cream all in a waffle cone. It was more casual and down to earth place compared to their other restaurants. It was a comfort food chill place to eat & drink! From a bunch of pork rinds to a root beer float brewed by Abita and a Foie Gras Burger all in one Entree. But it also had a few modern dishes. Honey had the Sorfrito Crusted Yellowfin Tuna on a bed of pickled veggies. We added the Mac & Cheese and side of Roasted Garden Veggies. We finished the night with a Cherry Brandied bread pudding topped with Vanilla Ice Cream. Dinner was awesome!
















Did I mentioned earlier today we bumped into each other at the mall... getting Valentine's gift for each other?! We busted each other!! It was so funny. ❤ I guess we are meant to be! We waited Til our dinner date to do the opening of the gifts. The dinning area had a huge display on their walls of bottles! Covered from ceiling to floor gave it a cool warm-like ambiance. It felt romantic but still casual enough to enjoy dinner.








When we went home from dinner, we share the chocolate covered strawberries with Mom and Dad. Vinh got me another DY bracelet! and I love it! Every jewelry piece he gets me, I wear it! especially on special occasions. I got Chanel Cologne for him. I told him when I was picking it out... This scent reminded me of him everytime he first gets out of a shower. Haha so Fresh and Clean! His mom likes it too! Haha. We also got a goodie treat bag from Kim Anh! Dad was teasing and texting her about it. It was a sweet Valentine's day! Thanks to my new family-to-be. I can't wait to share many more holidays with them.
