Regular day makeup

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'm happily married and living in the blissfulness of NewlywedDom. Haha. Even though Vinh and I share a room together, I have most of the space for all my stuff! I really enjoy doing my makeup and hair on my days off. Been trying some new products!! I've been an influenster for the past few months and really like getting free stuff! So I'll do a post soon on my most recent VoxBox called Something Blue. #IDoVoxBox

Until then, I'd like to share a normal day when I actual do my hair and makeup! My day off! I'm taking my mom to the dentist later and also run around town to do some errands.

17 days and counting down!

So excited we have almost everything done. Well, we just have to wait closer to the wedding day to do a little more. Like get my nails did and a hair removal session. TMI. I'm so excited about my floral plans! I have everything I want and under the budget! That was the hardest task because I easily went overboard there. But the florist worked it out! I can't wait til the day comes and see it all in real life! I know everything may not go as planned but it's okay. Just let it be! I tell myself. As long as I'm married to the love of my life Vinh... The day went perfectly! My whole family has been so supportive and helping a lot. I feel bad I have to put them in any stress for my wedding day, but it is a lot to do. So hopefully everything will be okay. I hope the vendors all understand if nothing goes as planned and just go with it! I hope my family enjoy themselves on the memorable day. I already feel the emotions flowing through the air as I pack and get ready for my new life with my hubby. I miss them already!

Poshmark

So, these past few months I've been preparing for my move in with the soon-to-be hubby. I been using an iPhone app called poshmark to sell shoes, dresses and accessories! I'm making money back and recycling all my stuff! The stuff I post to sell are much loved items and stuff I think people would actually like and buy! So far I've made over $200 worth of stuff. Well, I also bought cool stuff too! Here's a few listings that SOLD! Hubby would be proud!

Valentine's Day w/ Fiancé

We went to dinner at SoBou, (South of Bourbon) a brother restaurant of Cafe Adelaide & Commander's Palace from Brennan's here in NOLA. We started of with the cutest spinoff of Tuna Tartar Ceviche topped with Avocado Ice cream all in a waffle cone. It was more casual and down to earth place compared to their other restaurants. It was a comfort food chill place to eat & drink! From a bunch of pork rinds to a root beer float brewed by Abita and a Foie Gras Burger all in one Entree. But it also had a few modern dishes. Honey had the Sorfrito Crusted Yellowfin Tuna on a bed of pickled veggies. We added the Mac & Cheese and side of Roasted Garden Veggies. We finished the night with a Cherry Brandied bread pudding topped with Vanilla Ice Cream. Dinner was awesome!
















Did I mentioned earlier today we bumped into each other at the mall... getting Valentine's gift for each other?! We busted each other!! It was so funny. ❤ I guess we are meant to be! We waited Til our dinner date to do the opening of the gifts. The dinning area had a huge display on their walls of bottles! Covered from ceiling to floor gave it a cool warm-like ambiance. It felt romantic but still casual enough to enjoy dinner.








When we went home from dinner, we share the chocolate covered strawberries with Mom and Dad. Vinh got me another DY bracelet! and I love it! Every jewelry piece he gets me, I wear it! especially on special occasions. I got Chanel Cologne for him. I told him when I was picking it out... This scent reminded me of him everytime he first gets out of a shower. Haha so Fresh and Clean! His mom likes it too! Haha. We also got a goodie treat bag from Kim Anh! Dad was teasing and texting her about it. It was a sweet Valentine's day! Thanks to my new family-to-be. I can't wait to share many more holidays with them.

My Pre-Wedding Session

I'm so excited to share my Pre-Wedding Photos!!

Thank you Hong Nguyen @Phuong My Photography for taking such wonderful pictures of Vinh and I. It was a very fun and wonderful experience for a soon to be married couple. This is part of what it's all about as an engaged couple. It was also my birthday so we had an awesome day date. The activities planned for the day couldn't flow any easier than it had. The weather was awesome and we didn't hit any parade traffic going to the locations. Thanks to my brother-in-law Anh Nhan for letting me borrow his brother's vintage white car to use as a prop for our photos. It was the main thing that inspired the rest of our theme. Thanks to my love Vinh! I couldn't do it without him making me laugh. My sisters Thao-Vi and Anna for helping make my plans go smoothly. And also a surprise guest photographer, Christie Froom for being Hong's assistant and my 2nd photographer for the day. Most importantly, God, for blessing us with such a beautiful and wonderful day as our backdrop for all our photos.
