New Women's New Balance Minimus. $110.00 New Balance, my favorite atheletic shoe designer, came together with Vibram, the new technology in barefoot running geniuses, and created this one. It's recently released this month and already sold out in my size on Amazon. =( I tried to find it in malls, no luck. So waiting... but I want it!!! I still like the Nike Free though. My other New Balance shoes were all beat up. Both the pink one and Nine West ones. My pinky toe was sticking out from the mesh hole on the sides and it had potholes that hurted my feet on the bottom. I had to rid of them.
Last Thursday was payday! My bank account has been growing since all my debts been paid off. Minus the usual spending on my credit cards. I only use my discover when I can earn rewards and my amazon card when I buy stuff online. I'm still making payments on school loans but it's slowly going down. Since I had extra money, I made extra payments on them on top of the automatic withdrawals. I'm doing good! =P
It was such a beautiful day so I decided to go do some shopping for my god-daughter's bday. I was hungry on my way there and texted my friend Ton and asked him Wyd? He was at work and his lunch time was at 3. I was driving into the city around 1:30 so I told him I'd do some shopping until his lunch time. I bought her a few spring/summer outfits at The Children's place. And I bought myself a few things too.
I didn't get the pleather jacket cause I thought it was slightly overpriced. But I did got the blue shirt. I sent my boyfriend this picture. He said I looked good!!
I enjoyed it very much. And I also met up with Ton and had a nice lunch at apple bee's. Beautiful day well spent. I might have to treat myself again next payday. I'm getting my highlights retouched. I love my hair! Tiffani did it!
Living the life!! Mwah mwah mwah** I can't wait to go to Sydney and find Nemo!! Haha! And I'm Finally loving those Nike free shoes I bought a long time ago. I just remove the shoe laces and love it!! It's my new work shoes! I'm throwing out the Nike balances.
Your eyes does that wrinkly thing on the outer corners. It looks like smiling eyes. Your eyes do that wrinkly thing in the middle. It looks like "what you looking at?" eyes. Then your nose and pouty lips squinch up together and the top of eyes wrinkles down low... looks like "Stop it!" eyes. -I love it. I love that you're into rock music. Classic Rock music. His side of the story: "I went and pick up the house key from Van lil sis Thao-Vi from work, so I can sneak into the house while Van is sleeping to drop off her vday stuff, but when i snuck ...into her room she had a feeling that some1 was in her room she she said crap where is my phone, thinking that she is late for work. I ducked down and hide and snuck out of her room to get more stuff from my car. When I walked in she walked into the living room and busted me holding vday stuff in my hands...."
-It's so much better when you tell it. I didn't know you had to duck and hide. Lol. And yes I was surprised! Not like as you planned but it's very sweet and thoughtful you did all that for me.- I got roses again! He makes me like Red roses even more! Simply because it's from him. I felt very special opening this little box... almost like when I open the little Zales box with my earrings during chritsmas time. Not knowing what's inside... but just the idea of what's inside kept the corners of my lips up high... =)
OMG, these were delicious!!! It took me a few days to finish them. I wanted to savor each and everyone of it. Vinh posted up facebook status of all of this on vday and shared his moments with his friends. Everyone complimented us. We're so cute together and stuff. Vinh makes me feel very special. He makes me Happy. He does the sweetest things.. I'm so Lucky. And I'm so in love with him.
It takes moments like this to know you love someone more than ever. I will never hurt him again. It breaks my heart how easily I can break his heart with my careless words. I really do Love him. Sometimes we need to learn when to yield in love. I went too far and made him hurt, deep down inside. Sometimes I would cry... but really we both do. Love is hard, but it is easy too. How easily he let me back in his heart tells me there's nothing I should be afraid of. Because he's always there. No matter what. Even if I was the one who hurted him. I need to be careful with my words when I'm angry and emotional. I should respect his decisions and when the time is right for him and not wish to rush things that are important to him. I want him to be happy and if it means supressing my needs to go further with him it'll be okay. Here we go. =)
Started with getting off from work early that morning and slept til noon. I went to run errands buying things to Tet Vinh's parents at Hong Kong Market. I got his dad coffee and his mom asian pears and a box of chocolates. On the way home got stuck in traffic by the CCC. Thao-Vi called me to go to Play Birthday Slot Machine at Harrah's. Might as well since I'm stuck in traffic and can't go home to watch Secret Garden (Kdrama I'm addicted to). My cousin Linda and Thao-vi joined me on the spin. And Guess What?! I won something other than the free buffet.

We were hungry and used it right away. It was delicious. This is just the dessert. I'm glad Thao-vi and Linda talked me into it. Made the start of my Birthday memorable. Other photos is on facebook. Vinh was working on my bday. So, he told me he'd take me out for Sushi for my Birthday on Friday instead. But little did I know, he and Thao-vi planned a surprise Birthday party for me at Little Tokyo. Pretty Brilliant! Because I love sushi and singing! But the surprised got spoiled by my older sister Hong a few days early. She told me she's going to Little Tokyo friday. I was like... "With me and Vinh?" and then it hit me. I told Hong, "I know now. Hahaha!" On Friday I went to get my hair done by Tiffani's and got highlights! =) I really like it!! She used my hair in her profile on her website. She just moved into her new Salon which is in the same building as Hong's nail store. I been hanging out there alot with Hong. Night time came around and Vinh came to Chuc Tet my parents before heading out to Lil tokyo. But when he came over, he knocked on the door and I opened it. He surprised me with Roses! I love it! It's my favorite! I had an awesome night and was surprised again when my friend Nga came to join us. Dieu and Jaime came too. Tien was busy working that night. We didn't leave lil tokyo til they closed. Haha! Since it was a surprise, I didn't have my camera to take any pics. But Nga took this picture on her phone. Big Smile! They got me a Hi-Do Fluer de Lis King Cake! How awesome?! My niece helped me blow out my 26 candles... And we had so much to drink that night. I love it! Spending my birthday with Friends and Family. =)Saturday Night I planned and invited a bunch of my girlfriends to celebrate my Birthday. We had dinner at Drago's. Hue Surprised me with a Cake! A pre-cursor to our Destination on Bourbon, The Beach! =) I felt really special having all these fine ladies with me that night. =) We went to the Beach down on Bourbon and I rode the whale. It was fun but also scary.. anyways, I really sucked and was tipsy! Oh yeah, I love the song No Hands that they were playing!
Sunday we ended it with a big celebration at Hong's house. Because it was also Anh Nhan's (1/23) and Noah's (1/28) Birthday!! They also celebrated their house warming that day becuase their brother finally came home from Brazil. I'm all tired out. What a weekend. There's alot I didn't mentioned and just skimmed through it with photos... But it'll suffice. Everything else is embedded in my memories. I'm so blessed.
