What could be inside this little black ribboned Red Lee Michaels Box?!
David Yurman's heart lock Cable Bracelet.
This is a very nice to go along with last year's gift. I'm loving this bracelet alot!! It's delicate, lovely, timeless and not too flashy. And mostly it's from him! I love you Vinh!! He said it took him two hours of shopping at the mall to decide what to get for me. I know he hates shopping at the mall too.
will add his christmas gift after holidays. night night.
I got him a Burberry Wallet. I recalled the time we went shopping at The Galleria that he asked an Gucci associate to look at some wallets. He wanted something not too flashy and has an ID window for his license. Something all black or simple design no logo on the outside. I looked at many wallets and most were flashy or didn't have the ID window. So I was very glad when I found a Burberry one. I was only worried about the design on the outside cause you can tell it's Burberry. But he likes it alot! He says the signature pattern is dark and not too noticable...and he likes it. I'm glad. =)

Handy Man
Thanks babe for changing out my headlights and resurfacing them..... It's so much brighter driving on the road at night!! I'm so lucky to have such a handy boyfriend! It's cool not having to get my hands dirty because my boyfriend takes care of these stuff for me, and he likes it too! =) I like watching him do handy stuff. Like changing my brakes, checking my tires, placing on new windshield wipers, waxing on rain-x on the windshield/windows, installing a new stereo face on the dashboard, or simply washing his car. It's so sexy!!

Insecure
"Okay babe. I think you being cool with me sticking it out helps me pull through. In my head i'm feeling like I should quit for the sake of beating them to it. But if my head has you in it and your belief in me.... Everything else doesn't matter."
Leaving it to the hands of god. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. He will show me what to do next with my life. =) I feel a change coming soon. Hope it's for the better. When one door closes another one will open.

September Gone
I guess I'm not going back to sleep since September has come and gone. Can't believe I let a whole month passed by without an entry. This month has been quite stressful for me. I'm back in the wagon of looking for a job. Ever since I came back from vacation, things has completely changed for me at West Jeff (WJ). I'm no longer happy working for WJ but presently still am employed there... until I can find something else. It's sad that things are not as I have thought it would be. The respiratory field has been falling down a bumpy staircase. Well, at least at this hospital, it has dramatically change for the worse in my case. I can't say that I am happy like I was two years ago when I was first hired. I think my raise did helped a little this pass month and keeps me hanging on. I'm there just to be there and do my job. I'm slowly growing distant from the people there. And it's only natural for an easy composition for when I leave. But with all do respect, WJ has been good to me.... just up until this pass month. I appreciate this place for being my first step into real-life of my career. Working here has taught me many things. But I'm also looking forward to move along. Have a fresh start somewhere new and grow there and keep moving along. =) But, we'll see how things go.
When you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.

Summer Movies!
Yes it's been awhile since I blogged. But I've been having a nice Summer! My trip is a few weeks from now and I'm so excited! I've been spending time with my family going on Movie dates. Summer time is the best time to watch Movies! My most recent movie is Horrible Bosses. I watched that with Anna at the Chalmette Cinema. I was surprised that it was opened and wasn't too bad. I also went to watch Transformers: Dark fo the Moon with Vinh and we watched it in 3D. It was so cool! Before that, I went to watch Bridesmaids with Thao-Vi and Tien. Hilarious!! Before that, I went to watch Something Borrowed with Thao-vi and Jaime. It was as good as the book! Before that was Hangover 2 with Thao-vi Vinh and Anna. Awesome Movie! I think that was the start of the Summer Blockbusters. My next one is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It'll be my most definite movie to watch before the trip. Other than watching movies, I been addicted to this new Kdrama called City Hunter! The main character reminds me of my favorite chinese actor, Andy Lau. It's all in the eyes!! I'm mesmerized!
Work has been dreary. So Slow this time of year. They even laid off some people. =/ OMG! It made me reflect on some things if I myself were to be laid off. It can happen. I've been thinking to retake that damn board but it would seem useless if I don't have work. Unless I move away. I would move away, but that would mean I have to leave behind so much. Friends and Family, the familiarity of the city, and my boyfriend. I'm going to miss him so much when I go to Austrailia. Anyways, I also thought about going back to school for Dentistry. It was what I was trying to go for in the beginning. But seems so far away at a distance in my mind right now. Right now I want to settle down and start a family. But I'm back to where I was a few years ago. What do I want to do career-wise. I'm like -really?! Am I there again?! I hate that feeling of not knowing what I want to do. I understand circumstances may change and create life bumps and I gotta get through it. Unfortunately this is a decision I have to make at a forked-road. Should I do this or do that, or keep trying to pull through the road I'm already on. =/
IDK, but I do have some good news! My boyfriend passed his written RRT boards! Now he only has one left to take. I hope he doesn't go through the same ordeal as I am. I failed it so many times, I give up. I kinda want to give it one more shot, but I feel so hopeless and I don't know if I can take the failure again. Unless I go into not caring if I pass or not. I go in it ready to fail and lose 200 bucks. Like losing all my gambling winnings! =) haha. I should go try my luck again at roulette. If I win over 200 I will go take that damn test again. Maybe I will go try this weekend. Haha!

Happy Birthday Vinh
To the biggest kid I know. A big toy for a big boy. I Love you babe. Share your toy with me...? =P
I was too excited to wait til his actual Birthday. So I made him open his present a little early. I'm just smiling and was so excited the whole time he was opening his gift. Since I knew what was in there... I wanted him to rip it open fast... but he took his time... and prolong my excitement. =) I'm glad he did... Can you hear my impatience? haha

Our Anniversary
Our 2 year anniversary dinner date. We had dinner at The Royal Palms. So romantic... With the dim lighting dinning. Service was great. Food was great. And the companion I had was awesome. =) Alot of Smiling... =) and excitement. I loved the View of the sunset sky into the moonlit sky through the ceiling to floor glass windows... The beautiful fountain and lights on palm trees. Yes, it's amazing as the food. We even saw fireworks on our drive back to his house. So Romantic... Oh I already mentioned that.
Oversized porkchop. Recommended by his friend Muddley. It was so good, as good as his steak. =)
Blackened steak. It's the Royal Steak that they're known for. If you want a perfect night out with your Boyfriend/Husband... this is the place to go and enjoy a nice evening out. We was supposed to go for Valentine's but I was working that night. This totally made up for it. It was as awesome as our first Valentine's Dinner at G.W. Fins. He always pick the right places!
After our dinner, I went out for Linda's graduation. I really enjoy my weekends off from work! =)

For My Mom
Mother's day flowers: DIY arrangements! I bought 40 bucks worth of flowers, roses and greenery fillers to make two arrangements. One for my mom (left) and one for Vinh's mom (right). Here's a picture of both side by side.
In truth, the first one I did (left) didn't turn out a nice as my second one (right) but I fixed it by recycling the green wrapper the bundle of flowers came with and made it look even better. =) It took about 45 minutes to do both. I also recycled the vases too. Those vases came from Vinh's flowers he gave me for my birthday and Valentine's.
When I was done making the second arrangement, I decided to give that one to Vinh's mom. The other one just would've shown how I suck at floral arranging and I couldn't be having that. Hehe... So this one's for his mom. (It looks so full and pretty from atop.)
And this one is for my mom. Trust me, it looks much worst before I saved it with the green wrap around it. But she liked it anyway even before the wrap.
It looks pretty cool from atop too. Kinda like a triangle form with the flowers and another triangle form with the wrap. Now I can't decide which one I should give his mom because both of it looks pretty good. =) I'm just going to ask my mom which one I should give to Vinh's mom. But I like the green wrapped one better. Haha
