For My Mom

Mother's day flowers: DIY arrangements! I bought 40 bucks worth of flowers, roses and greenery fillers to make two arrangements. One for my mom (left) and one for Vinh's mom (right). Here's a picture of both side by side.

In truth, the first one I did (left) didn't turn out a nice as my second one (right) but I fixed it by recycling the green wrapper the bundle of flowers came with and made it look even better. =) It took about 45 minutes to do both. I also recycled the vases too. Those vases came from Vinh's flowers he gave me for my birthday and Valentine's.
When I was done making the second arrangement, I decided to give that one to Vinh's mom. The other one just would've shown how I suck at floral arranging and I couldn't be having that. Hehe... So this one's for his mom. (It looks so full and pretty from atop.)

And this one is for my mom. Trust me, it looks much worst before I saved it with the green wrap around it. But she liked it anyway even before the wrap.

It looks pretty cool from atop too. Kinda like a triangle form with the flowers and another triangle form with the wrap. Now I can't decide which one I should give his mom because both of it looks pretty good. =) I'm just going to ask my mom which one I should give to Vinh's mom. But I like the green wrapped one better. Haha
